A new 200 acre fire west of Wisdom could effect northbound hikers. It is
located (45 40' 30, 113 47' 25") about 6 miles south of the Divide. Note it
is very windy in the area today, with winds currently out of the SW. The
Schultz Saddle road is closed.

SHEEP CREEK, Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest. A Type 2 Incident
Management Team
(Benes) has been ordered. This fire is 16 miles west of Wisdom, MT. Long
range spotting was
observed in heavy dead and down timber.
