I use a CamelBack for biking and have had problems with the water in the
tube freezing in winter. But this also happens with the regular
"bike-style" water bottles -- the spout freezes so you can't drink from
it without removing the cover. I'd love to hear any solutions to this
problem and winter-hiking water management in general. Last winter my
water filter froze early on a weekend hike, and I couldn't use it again
for the remainder of the trip.
