Best of luck to the '96 thruhikers.  I grow increasingly jealous as you
countdown :-)

In April, I am planning a short hike from southern MA to about  Pawling,
NY.  The NY Guide shows public trans from Pawling, but the CT/MA
guide does not include any public transit info.

Are there and CT or MA folks who might be able to point me to buses that
run along MA 41?
