Dan set up the Avery for all 2000 milers who "pass every white blaze".  Thruhikers,

Flip floppers,  and Section Hikers.  Not that it matters now.

woodelf called this thread "very boring".  Personally, I think you did a pretty
good job summing up a "brief" history of WF, ATML & AT-L in a non-inflammatory way
for the newbies, even if your trolling skills do need honing.
