 I find this thought repeated again and again. I have yet to see any evidence
 that soapy water dumped out of the way under some bushes does any harm
 whatsoever to the environment. Frankly dumping the water directly into fast
 flowing streams is 99 + percent an aesthetic problem.

 I have asked again and again on this and other lists for some scientific
 reference that suggests soapy water deposited away from streams does any harm.
 I'm still waiting.
