[at-l] More Elk for the Smokies



When I was there after Thanksgiving, the park people said that they had lost
only one adult who had been brought in and a couple of the several babies
that were born after introduction.  That's not bad for a herd of 28 or so.
With babies, they had a net gain of about 3, as I recall, so the original
introduction must have been about 25.  anklebear
