Sunday 10/7-8 3 of us  plan to backpack from Arlington-West Wardsboro Rd, to
Rt. 11. Have not done any AT in VT. Can anyone tell me about trail conditions?
Is the ARlington Rd easily accessible? Thinking of staying at Wm B Douglas
Shelter, 1/2mi off trail. Is that a good shelter, is it worth hiking that far
off trail, or is it possible to "stealth" camp off trail in that area?
