Home: Plaquemine, Louisiana (on the west bank of the
Mississippi) ... planning to move to Asheville NC in
the spring

Born: N'Awlins LA

Age: 31

Never married ... still waiting for Strider

No kids, but two fat, spoiled cats that might as well
be my kids

Occupation: Technical Writer/Editor, but going back to
school this fall to finish up my secondary education
(English) requirements for certification ... so maybe
I'll be a high school English teacher in North
Carolina before long

Hobbies: Playing piano, writing music, swing dancing,
reading, softball, volleyball, reading MBTI
personality type research, hiking (a hobby or a way of
life?), working out (I don't know if that's a hobby
either), AT-L of course, and probably a bunch of other
things I can't think of.

Last books read: Currently re-reading LOTR; last book
before that was Nimblewill Nomad's book. I've started
several other books, but lately I've been bad about
starting them and not finishing them. :-(

First time on the AT:  1973(?), age 3, family trip to
the Smokies

First hike of AT: 1989, age 19, dayhiking bits and
pieces in Shenandoah National Park as a student at
Mary Baldwin College

Favorite soft beverage: Diet Coke (of course--I'm
female).

Favorite hard beverage: I don't drink much, except for
the occasional glass of red wine ... lately I've been
into Australian wines.

Portions of AT covered: The whole darn thing!
Hopefully again someday ...

That's about it ... time to get back to work!
