You aren't mean spirited and it was reality oriented. You have a
problem with people who whine about their chosen life's work. I do too,
regardless of the years and profitability. I caught myself whining and
started hiking.

But there comes a point when we have said pretty much everything about
such a person that it serves little purpose to repeat. The repetitions
come across as just the same sort of whining and mean spirited
discourse as many have fled or been banished from. 

We've got bigger fish to fry, such as FSN and MD's. ;-)

If you would like to discuss it offline, I'll give you my cell phone
number. I'll write it on a soaking wet silnylon umbrella. (That was
mean spirited.)
