Nearly three years after starting my AT thru-hike (my has time flown!),
my life is
still in transition. Looks like it will be that way for a while. :)
(One of the topic of conversations while back in Rhode Island is when I
am going to settle down. Looks like mom wants some grandchildren. She is
going to have to wait a looooooooong time!:D )

Come to think of it, isn't life just one big transition, anyway? Some are
larger than others (marriage, divorce, children) but out everyday lives
seem to be full of them.
New construction changes our daily commute, the cost of coffee is
raised at your favorite breakfast place, a new co-worker starts at the
office.

So the AT is one just one big transition in a string of transititions in
this really big journey we call life.

Ok, enough waxing philosophical.
