Here is what I am probably going to take on my section hike. Actually,
this is a little out of date, but I don't feel like going through the
hassle of cutting-pasting-and-editing-to-make-nice the current list. The
Frogg Togg jacket and rain paints will almost certainly be removed and
replaced with a Stephenson Poncho saving 8 ounces. I hesitate to say that
the poncho will be in the "worn" category since it'll be hanging off the
pack most of the time and I suppose that really means it does add to the
pack's overall weight.
This yields a pack weight of right around 23 pounds as I recall. Add a
fudge factor in and that rises to 25 (things always get heavier). Skin
out weight would be 31 pounds or so.

* Haven't weighed or plan to replace with different items
** Almost certainly rise some. Pretty standard stuff in these.
*** I might get new socks and that would change these. I don't use liners
with
the Smartwools and have been eearing good thing about Bridgeable
socks so
I might give those a shot instead.
