[pct-l] Trail Angel Losses!!

 Sad to hear of Jack's Loss to the PCT community. This makes two losses of 
trail angels in a very short time. Butch 's loss to the trail is still a 
vivid memory as well.  I know of  maybe a dozen or so such angels that offer 
so much as these folks offered. It seems strange that these losses were of " 
apparent" suicide. Jack would have had a great career in Hollywood  playing 
parts such as the " Mad Hermit at a last chance gas station" in the middle of 
the desert. ( Like the old guy in 70's movie , " Night of the Garoyles")  
Hikers were richer for meeting him.  And remember, " That water will be One 
@#%*&! dollar please!! ( Jack's last words) So long Jack Fair ( The Mr. Hanny 
of the desert)
