Just returned from a one nighter with kids at three forks. I didn't get to
hike much, but, despite the rain, the kids had a ball. Hiked up to Long
Creek Falls and back. Lots of water!

Saw but one solo long distance hiker. Hailed good morning to which he
responded in kind. Asked if he came from Maine, and he said Naw and kept on
hiking southbound, up to the Springer Summit I suppose.
