Hot! Humid! We have had good rain up there, so water is not as bad a 
problem as last fall. All the thru hikers are gone, hence most of the trail 
angels. It is very important to pace yourself and maintain hydration this 
time of year. For instance, the way between Hightower Gap and Justus Creek 
is a very long way with little water. At least it should be too hot for 
most of the Bubbas to be crowding Blood Mountain.
