[at-l] Hand Held Computers

Hi
With the Sharp TelMail system you can store e-mail in the out box and when
you reach a phone just call the 800# and send your e-mail and receive any
e-mails the system has been holding for you. TelMail does more than just
e-mails. For additional information visit my web site
http://www.monmouth.com/~johno/
or
http://www.monmouth.com/~mconnick/
Both have information and links for TelMail and JVC's version.

But can someone explain what technically is now possible with these hand
held computers-casio etc. Can i type and send it home instantly, or do i
need to have a portable phone with a hook up, or do i need to wait until
i get into town to send? VCAn i recieve email on my computer instantly?
thanks Poutine Jim also which is the best, lightest, cost? etc etc just
the facts maam...

I personally like the Sharp TelMail aas it holds more memory and has more
features. Plus it weight is only 8 ounces. TelMail cost $150 and JVC
costs $100. The 800 # service is $10 a month for unlimited calls for
either system. With the 800# service you can also download weather ,
sports, news and a assortment of other things each time you come to a
phone. Units will work with cell phones if the signal is a strong one.
If you check out the 2 web sites listed above it should answer a lot of
your questions. Feel free to ask any you don't find.
Have a good one.
