Foothills of NC here. It is 74 degrees and the sun is shinning. I took my
dog and we went for a hike out to the back of the property. Someone is
surveying,,,yuk,,,means they may build behind us,,,28 acres is just not
enough sometimes. We hiked along the old logging road and then bush-wacked
up to the back of our property line!!! I kept thinking,,,only 85 more days
and I will be thru hiking the AT. If what "they" say is true we are suppose
to have a warmer and drier winter than "normal." I almost put my pack on and
hiked but I guess I'll wait on that for next week! KC
