[at-l] The Franconia ridge trail.

What a fourth of July weekend I just had. Started out Friday morning at the
Lincoln Woods trail hike to the Osseo trail. Continued up to Mount flume
4328. Over to Mount Liberty. 4459. Now IM on the Franconia ridge trail.
Stop at Liberty Springs camp for water, then on to Little Haystack mountain
4500. I spent the night there not intensely but just to tied to go on. So I
slept under the stars, just laying on my thermal rest and in my sleeping
bag. What a beautiful night the star were out and only a slight cooling
breeze. It was great to be out on the open ridge. Next morning continued
over to mount Lincoln 5089 then on to MT Lafayette 4500. Then on to the
Garfield ridge trail over to MT Garfield 4488. From there I went to the
Franconia Brook trail which leads down to 13 fall campsite. Camp there for
the night. Did some swimming and just kicking back after two hard days of
hiking. Next morning woke up pouring rain so broke camp andhike out back to
the car, did 9 mile in less than three and haft hour. I must admit it was
flat hiking. But a great weekend in the N,H. White mountains.
