[at-l] Trailhead stop

hey Guys,

Just got back from New York and I thought I would share some of my adventures
with you. Installment number 1.

Met Slyman at trailhead at Route 17A in New York on Wednesday July 1. We
found a wonderful place near the trailhead (1.2 miles to the east towards
Greenwood Lake). Would recommend those hiking in the future to add it to
their lists. The place is called The Ledge Inn. Management was thrilled
having hikers there and gave us a tour and a free drink! The Inn was
originally Sugar Ray Robinsons boxing room and is really unique looking
inside. It has been hosting blues bands for years and has old band fliers on
the ceiling. The owner is a big animal lover and introduced us to his macaw.
There is a wonderful garden deck looking out at the woods and he said that
hikers would be welcome hanging out there. The kitchen is open until 4 am and
the food was good and moderately priced for New York. Phone number is
914-477-8595 and the owners name is Ray. Bring plenty of hiking stories....
