I still run into a lot of people who haven't heard of the AT (I'm in the
midwest) but I've seen it's mention more and more these last few years
in the mainstream press. But, today, I was really surprised to see its
mention in Tom Clancy's novel, "Executive Orders".

Geez, the AT in a Clancy techno-thriller? I thought I'd seen it all.
