Sorry I haven't had time to flame you but I just got back from a trip to
the Shenandoah Nat'l Park. :-)
Your post was the first one I read because it was a trip report. Sounded
like a successful trip to me, you survived and you learned something.
I'll bet you'll relive the memory almost every time you plan a cold
weather trip. Don't worry about the "flamers" they probably already know
everything, maybe they'll post and tell the rest of us, then we'll know
too. :-)
