Don't spread half information, e.g. the tick does not wait 24 hr then
release poison. A) it is not poison. B) the probability of getting
Lyme disease is a continuous function of how long the tick is attached
with most incidents occuring for long attachment times.  C) the mouse
involvement is much more than just attracted too. In some
sense it is the primary carrier and should get much more of the
blame than deer.  D) DEET may not be the ideal deterrent but it is all
that is commonly available and is at least somewhat effective.
