[at-l] First AT hike-type stuff

My introduction to backpacking was 3 or 4 guys I saw at the parking lot 
at Clingman's Dome. I was somewhere around 12. I watched with big eyes as 
these guys disappeared into a foggy rain, down some sidetrail. The next 
year we were at either Loft Mtn or Lewis Mtn campground in the SNP. The 
AT ran right next to our site. My mother swears that I said then that I 
would hike the AT someday. (Mom's prone to lie a bit.)
