  Did you consider the AMC Hostel (costs to stay), for use as a mail/UPS drop.?

  Also is you have enough supply you might make it to Gorham, you could stay
at the "Barn", and get your mail at the PO there in Gorham. 

  As far as the PO on Mt.Wash., it is "nice" to have a card from up there, I
sent
several to friends and to myself as a souvenir. But I do remember the PO guy as
a friendly sort, but didn't have much space for holding mail.

  There were/are shuttles from the top to various locales, these are
seperate from 
the AMC shuttles (the AMC shuttles didn't go up Mt.Wash. in 94).
