I don't have a GPS yet, however DeLORME has started putting gps grids on
the new maps & Gazetteers.  Yesterday some surveyers were out near my
property locating corner markers using a GPS.  As I understand it all gps
units are not equal.  I believe that even the inexpensive units will get 
you within 25 yards or so of any given point. I'm waiting for a smaller 
unit.
