PLANNING AN APPALACHIAN TRAIL THRU-HIKE
January 18-19, 1997
Pinkham Notch Visitor Center

This intensive two day workshop will help you plan and successfully complete
a thru-hike of the entire 2100 mile AT.  The road to success for many
thru-hikers was proper planning and preparation.  Instruction covers a broad
range of topics, including equipment selection, re-supplying,trail safety
and the psychology and philosophy of thru-hiking.  Open discussions, slides
and videos will be sued to cover additional information.  Mke your dream a
reality and join us at this informative workshop.  Instruction offered by
seasoned thru-hikers and Appalachian Mountain Club employees:
