Waterproof boots? I'm of the opinion there is no such thing.
Here's what I've done:
I purchased a pair of jungle boot -- leather with nylon sides and water
drainage holes. THEY WORK GREAT. Sure your feet get wet (a cold
proposition this time of year <g>) but, the water drains right out. With a
good pair of wool socks you have no discomfort.
