One of the main reasons hikers are attracted to find a group of partners or an expedition is that feel assured from the outset of their hike of being part of a mutually encouraging group. I assure you however that if you begin your thru-hike on any weekend between March 15 and April 15 that you will be with a group of mutually encouraging hikers. Good luck. -Frank Logue
