I don't know if anyone out there has spent any time in AOL's Backpacker 
Chatroom, or participated in the Backpacker/AOL Tag Team Hike, but one of 
the regulars there, AT1996 (Gail) started her thru-hike on March 27th. She 
called me today from Neels Gap and was a day ahead of schedule. She doesn't 
have a computer like the Kushman's, but will keep me updated from trail 
towns. I'll post here if anyone is interested.
