[at-l] Fw: Gathering Questions

"Carlisle was our biggest Gathering and makes transportation
easier for a lot of people."

Well, speaking strictly as the selfish bastard that I truly am, Carlisle would certainly be much more convenient to where I'm sitting...in da Philly 'burbs, to be imprecisely exact.

First of all, thanks to everyone on this list who told
me to get to the gathering. Workshops, information and
networking invaluable to a 2006 planner!
much appreciation.

Gear failure:
Test run for my Northface bivy (2.5 lbs).
Filled with over and and inch of water so I slept in
the car. Will try seam sealing, but any suggestions
for a light (< 2.5 lbs) but inexpensive (< $200) tent?

Contact info:
I met a few people who I would like to keep in touch
with. If anyone has email addresses. Feel free to
respond off list.

Radar - past thru hiker from CT
Chase - past thru and trail maintainer from VA
Judy (i think) - future thru hiker from VA, traveled
up with Chase.
Jim - I know you from this list and we talked a couple
of times, but I can't find your address.

thanks again,
boulder
