I keep pecking away. But my hike occurred so long ago, that I need to spend more time on the modern trail with its cell phones and lekis. Unfortunately, my wife wants to spend next summer visiting the western parks. Since we are both getting older, I can't bring myself to tell her, no, that I need to spend the summer on the trail, especially since for the past 14 years she's been our primary bread winner.

I posted the introductory chapter here nearly three years ago. A few people seemed to like it.
