Matt seeks information on hiking clothes, which covers a lot of sins and
territory. ;-)
You might wish to focus the question a bit. For instance, you have interest
in hiking skivies as you mentioned under armor. Lots of interesting
choices, including those who prefer to go commando. There are huge price
ranges from Salvation Army, Tuesday Morning, Big Lots, Campmor, REI and
Patagonia. You can get lots of opinions about the relative value - not just
the expense of clothes. For instance, once upon a time The North Face (TNF)
was bullet proof, expensive and a good value. Now it seems to have become
primarily a yuppie Flatlander brand, in my opinion.
Why not split this up into classes of clothing - gloves, skivies, pants,
shorts, socks, shirts, hats and such?
