[at-l] Re: Modern Devices, etc.



We found that the ~ $100 Composer from Pocketmail worked on more phones than
the Sharp TM-20 device. I believe it has more memory also. The Sharp is an
older device that you can only get as refurbished. It does not reconize the
technology of some of the new cell phones. We had a bigger problem with
certain telcos on the CDT. They didn't recognize the 800 number we were
using on land lines.

I was interested to hear that there were more devices available. I'll have
to check them out. The bottom line is that we using Pocketmail to record our
daily journals and to email our families. This was much more important on
the CDT than on the AT.
