Kelly,
Absolutely not a pestering!!
I have been using a combination of the Companion, Baltimore Jack's
resupply articles and the AT Guide book, as well as reading the journals
for about 90% of my information.
So - you are in the class of 2004, right? Dang, but I envy you.... And
all those that are on the trail right now... I am planning on doing the
Smokies section towards the last week in April next year, so maybe our
paths will cross. Have you thought of your start date yet?

Thanks, Jim (cool name). I have it:
http://www.aldha.org/companyn/intro03.pdf
I've ordered a print copy, I'm waiting for it to arrive and just a
little
impatient I guess and looking to hear opinions from other hikers in
addition
to reading the Companion. Since posting the question I also found and
read
Baltimore Jack's excellent article at Whiteblaze on resupplying.
Didn't mean to pester, I'm just excited! :)
