Ever heard the old saying becareful of what you wish for, you might get it?
You're coming close with that statement.
I've met a few crackers and hackers and they would see that message as a
challange. And some would dump a worm, virus, etc. in you system and let it
rest 'til it went off.
Even if you are HEAVILY DEFENDED, you cannot bet that you are always going
to be 100% safe. Even the Pentagon has been hacked. And in one case --
non-Pentagon but a commercial site that paid beaucoup money to be HEAVILY
DEFENDED -- the hacker/cracker was the person defending the site.

SPEAKING OF WHICH: Why don't hackers/crackers hack or crack other
hackers/crackers? Seem like it would be more fun and it would us harmless
computer users alone. If I were one, I'd track down some of these porn
spammers and spam bomb them with Bible group info and then fry their
software.

The Windows based computer that I also use is HEAVILY defended. It HAS
been hacked - once, but it has NEVER been infected by a virus. It does
delete two or three a day from incoming email though.
