[at-l] Majority of Americans Want More Wilderness

Verry good post.
I wonder if there is an accurate acount of fully protected wilderness verses
wilderness in general used for cattle, mining, lumber, windgenerators etc
listed state by state.
Held by the states and/or the federal government.
Was that 4.7% mentioned fully protected and off limits to all industries?
How much land in total does the federal government own?
How much of it is inter city, rural, farm land, or wilderness?
How much is subleased to industry for not it's full value?
How much is used with current value leasing payments?
How much is altered by the governement by getting rid of the pest wildlife
such as wolves and bison?
How much land does the Forrest service own and manage?
Also how much territory do we own on our shores that are being subletted to
industery.
Just asking,
Who is minding the store?
Rogene
