[at-l] Trail Books - reposted

My personal favorite AT book is

"The Applachian Trail Reader", edited by David
Emblidge

A collection of works that goes from the eloquence of
Thoreau to the more raw, but equally heart felt, works
of hikers like you and I. Has stories on the geology,
the plant and wildlife, the history and the culture of
the Appalachians. In short, it is a book that
encompasses not onlt the trail itself but the lands
and people that the trail comes across.

My copy is getting rather dog eared!
