[at-l] Hiking Advice (2)

On Thu, Dec 12, 2002 at 11:27:54AM -0500, I received a message from Bob C. to which I felt pleasantly compelled to respond by saying:
> Being cold, wet and hungry are part of the pleasures and challenges of a thru

Yes, I can imagine. I've experienced it many times. Sorry, Weary, but
the journey of being cold wet and hungry isn't worth the good feeling
when the sun comes out. If I'm cold and wet with no way to change that
I'll stop to eat. If I'm wet and hungry with no way to change that I'll
make sure I'm warm. If I'm cold and hungry with no way to change that
I'll make sure I'm dry.
