[at-l] No Hunting?

A large section of the trail in PA goes through state game lands that are o=
wned by the state.  They are purchased from the proceeds of the hunting and=
 fishing liscences.  Many of the trails are maintained by the DNR.  There h=
as been talk of closing the AT during hunting season.  Again members of thi=
s list have ASSumed that the trail and the surrounding land is just only fo=
r their own use.  Sorry most of the land is multi-use land.  I would much r=
ather work with the DNR than have them decide they no longer want the trail=
 on state gamelands.
