[at-l] Knee braces - recommendations?

Hmm, just one more message tonight - and it might be kind of late - but you
never know on this list.

My doctor prescribed braces to stabilize my patella.  he specifically
mentioned neoprene, but I recently saw some "Thermoskin" braces
(www.thermoskin.com) that looked like they might wick sweat better than man=

neoprene I've seen.

Does anyone have any specific recommendations and/or warnings about
particular brands or materials in their braces?

The braces I'll be getting will have a U shaped stabilizer for my patella.
I do not need any vertical side stays/joints.
