Reference your post, dated September 23, 2002.

I was away.  Upon my return, I deleted most of the slightly less than one
million posts I had received.  Apparently, I deleted too much.  I'm puzzled
about some things appearing under this thread.

I would appreciate receiving definitions of "Trail advocacy" and "Trail
advocacy arguments."  And, what is the "TA list"?

If I understand this "Powder Puff Rebellion" at all, which may not be the
case, it seems easily resolved.  Parties who consider any thread "Off Topic"
or become disinterested in a thread, can simply opt to stop opening posts on
that thread.  Or, is there a dark side to that solution, which I'm missing?
