I got home a week and a half ago from three weeks of hiking.
The hiker hunger kicked in on day 8 of my hike. It hasn't
entirely gone away yet. Any suggestions as to how long it's
likely to last?
Before I left, I was concerned about muscling up, and curious
about weight loss. I took measurements before I left. I ended
up losing .5" to 1" on all my upper body measurements, and gaining
.5" to 1" on all my lower body measurements. And I gained 4 pounds.
(In 3 weeks!)
Given that all the gain was in major muscle groups, I'm guessing I
gained 4 pounds of muscle. So let me say a great big "Ha!" to those who
think women don't muscle up. :) Oh, and a smaller "ha!" to the
people who told me I'd lose weight. ;)
The hunger should go away any day now, right?
