[at-l] Why start/stop at Port Clinton?

> 4. It is a good place to stop before hitting the "bad, bad" rocks of Pennsylvania between Port Clinton and Delaware Water Gap. There are no other towns that the AT actually goes through in that section.

Well Actually there is Wind Gap. Better class of bars, a store where one can resupply, plenty of good food and did I mention the Bars? A motel, several in fact and fast food, and medical care (OK Hamburg has all of these things, but it is a nasty Hitch from Port Clinton). Otherwise I think that Phil is dead on for the rest of his list. I need to get out an d hike longer than 3 days to appreciate 300 mile sections.

By the way I have hiked out of Port Clinton in both directions. Not a lot of fun for an out of shape section hiker.
