[at-l] hiker death in TN/NC

I received a phone call last night from my brother-in-law in Tennessee
telling us about the death of an old friend's daughter.  The limited
information he had was that she was hiking in TN/NC somewhere and fell
to her death.  There may have been some news of this in a Nashville
paper over the last few days, but I have been unable to find anything
about it on the internet.

The woman's last name was something like Sauder, Sauter, Souter, or a
variation thereof.  Does anyone on the list have any info about this?
