For the love of God, it's a freaking book.  Can't we just agree to disagree?  
You all can argue this to you're blue in the face, and it's not going to 
change anyone's personal opinion of Bryson's book.  I think anyone that can 
inspire someone to pick up a book and READ is OK in my book, no pun intended.
