[at-l] Preparing for the Hike--Book Storage

depends a lot on where you are storing them. I bought normal cardboard
boxes @ Public Storage, but I also stored them there in an interior climate
controlled unit. I stored them for 2 years and they are fine.

If there is a chance that the boxes could get wet - then the rubbermaid
would be good for the nice books.

I'm starting to get prepared for the hike... its less then a year until I
leave now. I have come to the problem of books... lots and lots of books.
Anyone have good storage suggestion? I don't want to throw then in a bunch
of different odd sized boxes that I might find here or their. I will also be
moving them a lot and don't know how much space I will have in the new
apartment when I get back from the trip. So some of the books might stay
stored a little bit. The best thing I can think of right now is find a good
size Rubbermaid bin and number them so I can keep track of which books are
in what bin.
Any suggestions?
