[at-l] Sleeping pad, My finaly decision... I think

I strongly suggest keeping some $ around, for the purpose of changing
your mind about your sleeping pad while you are on the trail. I changed
my padding choice once between Springer and the N.O.C. during my 2000
shakedown hike, then I changed again before my 2001 thruhike, then I
changed three times while on my thruhike. At least half the hikers I can
think of changed their padding system during their hike.

(The same suggestion and experience applies to shoe/sock systems, but
that's a different thread :-))
