My gut feeling on this one is that if these parks truly are polluted, it is NOT from snowmobiles. It's from the surrounding cities, hundreds of miles away. the pollution there gets into the jet stream / upper atmosphere and get blocked by the mountains surrounding the park. Pollution particulates are too heavy to carry over peaks. Bodies of water, such as oceans also play a roll. t.
