[at-l] Health Insurance

This issue reminds me of a sign I saw behind a cash register in a stop in
PA, "Good food is seldom cheap. Cheap food is seldom good. We serve good
food at a reasonable price."

Lucky for me this is a non-issue, as I took health insurance into
retirement -- not cheap, but reasonable. In addition, I know very little
about insurance.

So, I have been waiting for others to respond.

However, I think I remember someone saying that one strategy is to buy some
of high deductible catastrophe insurance.

Another strategy mentioned was insurance available through groups such as
outdoor clubs. With the growing exclusion of coverage for "risky" pastimes,
these may become more available.

I suspect that Weary is right in saying "Unfortunately, there is no cheap
health care." However, what are the options? Is there reasonable
insurance?

Come on gang. We pride ourselves on being responsive and helpful. There
have to be list members out there who can help.
