This is one of the side-bennies of having a dehyder.
You can save stuff that will get tossed otherwise.
while you should never use anything that has
"gone by" as Gram would say, you can rescue lots
of stuff.  Like the cantaloupe I got suckered into buying
on Friday.  It looked good but it wasn't sweet ripe.
I dried it which concentrates the sugars and yum.....
Actually, fully ripe lopes are almost too sweet for my tastes.
BTW....sprinkle some cinnamon on those apples if
you get bored by them au natural.  I sprinkled taco
seasoning on lopes already..hotchacha!!!
