[at-l] Unemployment Thru

I'm with you.

One of the things that has always amazed me is the number of parents whom I
have known over the years who complain, "I don't know how [fill in the blank
with their son's, or daughter's name] could have [fill in the blank with
anything from disobedience of parents to major felonies]. I/we never raised
him/her that way, or I/we always taught him/her right from wrong, or I/we
took him/her to Church and ..., or etc." -- when I know those selfsame
parents were always talking about/ bragging about beating the law,
subverting the law, pulling sleazy-to-fraud deals, talked about how smart
they were to rip off some one/intuition and how dumb others were to follow
the law and its intent, etc.
